Buddy has a 05 6.0, we have replaced the icp itself, pigtail and it still has the irratic idle but shaking the wires sometimes makes it better. would the main engine harness need replaced or what?

Erratic idle how? Is it surging? I've seen iprs cause a surge, however i have never tried wiggling the harness at the icp during this. In theory it still could b the ipr, but where are you shaking the harness? Is it only the icp pigtail that s moving or could you be moving the crank sensor harness as well? Or possibly the alternator power wire?

sometimes its fine, other times be driving and it starts getting a rough idle, when you unplug the icp it will sometimes get better. the icp, ipr, ebp, and pigtail have all been replaced. only thing we can think of is the harness/bad wires. all over readings on the monitor look good.

What kind of oil and filter are you using? How old is it? Check to make sure its not diluted with fuel or something too. Are there any codes?
