Intercooler piping temperature

Anybody have any idea the temperature the hot side IC piping gets? 06 6.0

oh haha I want to try hydro-dipping, and the guy told me its safe to 350 degrees, I was wondering if i'd peel right off lol

depends on how much boost your making? the more boost, the hotter things get.

We have gun barrels hydro dipped. They get pretty hot. I think you would be fine

My past readings of IAT2 showed a temp increase of 10* above OAT. IF the output of the turbo is anywhere near 350* my Spearco is worth it's weight in gold.

I thought IAT was pre-turbo though? At the MAF.

It's in the driver side runner of the intake manifold.
