Intermittent injector problem

Alright guys truck is an 03 with 207k. It's had a weird miss at all temps recently and its getting about 10mpg. The truck will run smooth for a couple of seconds then run rough for a little then clear back up. It does it hot or cold. Im getting a contribution code for #1 and have gotten p2287 icp circuit intermittent a few times. I have a scanguage2 truck builds 3600psi at wot and all hpo related values seem to be in check. Ficm voltage is 48.5.

Start with ICP sensor and cable. Once you have an ICP circuit intermittent code, the truck will use ICP tables and will run rough and this could be killing mileage.

It's might be leaking oil thru the dang pins and causing a fluctuation in readings.

Sounds likely because it has a new icp sensor.

early model 6.0s have issues with injectors coils, the nut backs of and the bolt just moves freely. seen a bunch of those.

Wouldn't hurt to test the FICM either.

Ended up being a bad coil. Good call.
