International 4200, blocking egr cooler

If I block the egr cooler, will it go into limp mode or anything? Its an 06 model. I'm sure the check engine light will come on, but will any alarms go off or power loss, anything like that? Its in a huge motorhome.

Guess we'll find out. Got about an hour left putting it all back. Gonna drive it home tonight to test it out. Surprised at the differences between the Ford version and the International version.

there similiar but have many differences too.i did an egr and oil cooler in a 650 a few months ago.

No CEL, no limp. Power was really good for a rig this size. Wish my F-350 pulled as good as this one.
