Junk injector o ring

Dis assembled my engine today to get the heads to the machine shop tomorrow. Pulled the injectors and found one to have a blown out o ring...

Being the location of the o ring, could that have been causing my grey haze at start up/puff after idling at a light for a while and taking off??

Truck had never missed or ran rough, just seemed to be down on fuel mileage is the only thing i noticed other than some smoke.

What ya think?

Yes, mine did that and started smoking black heavier on tow/ stock tunes prior toreplacing the injectors. The first time i smogged it, had 8% smoke opacity, second time had 28%, it only ran rough sligghtly in the am, but that was more due to stiction.

No, that doesn't look to be an issue at all. It's just the coloration peeling off... if your copper wasn't compromised, then you were not getting fuel past and into cylinder
