Looking at doing new interior in my truck. I'm the second owner and first owner and didn't take very good care of the driver seat and it bothers me. Any body done aftermarket leather? Saw a truck with katzkin and looked stock and great. Any input? Want to do something like this but tan with brown insert

Are those seat covers or actual leather? I was hoping I could order factory Ford leather that are already stitched together but they don't do that. Co-worker did that on his GMC.

I believe @PTSUPERD has their leather in his truck.

Went today and looked at colors and pricing. I have to do a solid color cause of heated and AC seats. Think I'm going to go with a king ranch color and do light tan stitching

I do have Katskinz in my truck. Far superior to the factory leather of that year.

Did you go to an upholstery shop to look at the leather? I need to do mine soon as well, and I'd like to look at some seats with their covers

Hey man if you find a decent shop let me know. I'm about 30 minutes away from you.

Jason and I did my truck in like 4 hrs. It's not that hard. Buy you a pack of hog rings and hog ring pliers.

Over the summer we put a set of Katzkins heated leather seats in my buddy Matt's 6.4. Neither of us had ever done upholstery before and after a few hrs we had it done. First seat took about 3 hrs but after that it was super easy. Just gotta take your time and make sure everything is lined up nicely and pulled tight. My advice is get a GOOD set of hog ring pliers not some crappy ones. The set we had kind of sucked and we were fixing the tool many times during the process. No big deal but made a simple task more of a struggle. His were black leather with black suede inserts and silver stitching. It looks and feels amazing. Way better than factory. I'll shoot him a text with a link to this thread and ask him to post some pics

No I bought em from Randall aka Txglassman. He bought em and never installed. Ridiculously cheap.

High quality, for sure....I would not be afraid to tackle this your self, its a little time consuming, but well work saving your money.....highly recommend the product...if you go back through my threads, im pretty sure I have pictures posted of swapping the seat covers...

Here's a few old pics of my old f150 I had the Katzkin put in. Really nice leather, and seemed to not get as messed up on the drivers seat like the factory leather tends to do... I wouldn't hesitate to use them again at all.
