Had my 11 f350 for a few months, when it rains heavy it leaks from the top bolt cover on the driver side grab handle. What could this be, i cant find the source. Is it a common issue?

It does have a sunroof, looks to be draining okay

It might be the windshield. Mine did it once right after I got a new windshield put in. It leaked on the passenger side and dropped out of the handle. Mine only did it once though.

Thanks, ill probably have to take a hose and play with water lol.. seems like it only does it with the truck parked. If its parked pointing up hill, doesnt seem to do it. Got to be sunroof drain or windshield related sounds like

I'm guessing one of your drain hoses in the roof is plugged. Had this happen on my 12. They took the ceiling down and one of the little drain hoses was clogged.

I have a 2011 that had the same issue but have researched into what it could be. Most of the people I have talked to have said that Ford's adhesive they used when the truck was made on the windshield was a thin bead of glue that didn't seal perfectly when the windshield was applied to the truck. You may be able to go to an auto glass shop and spray air around the location to pin point the spot. Once you find it, have them run some adhesive over it. Good Luck!

The sunroof/moonroof whatever you wanna call it has 4 drain hoses. Front right, Front left, rear right, rear left. Could be that front left drain plugged.. When parked pointed uphill would explain why it doesn't do it. Water runs to the back instead.. That'd be my thoughts
