So it looks like I lost a lifter last night in ZMBYKLR. I think I know the answer unfortunately  , but is there a way to change the lifters without pulling the heads? Not a real big deal if I have to pull the cab because it will allow me to address some other things that need addressing anyway, but I wasn't planning to do it until about the end of the year.

Also, are there upgraded lifters available or should I just go back with Ford?

.

Motor has to come out, heads have to come off, rear engine cover has to be removed, and branch tubes have to be removed to get to the rear lifters. Ive heard you can do it in the truck as well, with trans removed, but i prefer engine removal.

Pull the motor, more than likely it will need a new cam too.
