Light issues

I have an 04 f350 6.0 L and I'm having issues with my rear night time driving lights, they both went out at the same time. First I checked the fuses and they are all good, then I checked the bulbs and they are both good, had a friend (who's a mechanic) go through the wiring with a circuit tester and all seemed to be good, so that's all I know to check for, if anyone has any insight into this I'd appreciate it, thanks, Josh
