looking to buy another 6.0 and i have a ?

i sold my 05 6.0 with 240,000 miles and im looking at a 05 6.0 with 106,000 miles looks and runs great only concern i have is when i turn the key over to let the glow plugs run all the lights but the check engine light and abs light turn on then off?, could it be a bulb burnt out or some one trying to hide somthing?, i havent bought the truck cuz of this issue

Hmmm, who knows.. I personally would not buy any 6.0 unless I could read stored codes and see all dash lights working properly.. Burn't out bulb, it's possible, the CEL is on most of the time in a 6.0...

The cel should never be on. Do you mean the glow plug "wait to start" light never comes on or goes off fast? No one can hide codes. If a code is stored, it will be there if read.

Scan codes. I take AE with me every time I go to look at a truck anymore.

Agreed with the AE reader every time ya look st a truck. I work with a jepsy dude ( flips cars) he had a truck and asked me to turn back odo and pull bulbs out of cel light. Deff NO!
