If i do decide to buu what do i need to look for and what's it cost to bullet proof it?

if youre not doing the work yourself, then the basic egr delete, studs, cac boots and possibly new degas bottle and coolant flush, and tune, about 3500-4k

Im getting ready to egr delete, studs, sct, 4" turbo back, factory ford gaskets and im looking at bout 1600-1700 before I get the machine shop bill. My buddy and i are doing all the work.

Do it! I said I'd never own one, but ended up buying an 05 with 119k miles. Put an EGR delete and Eric's custom tunes on it and now at 197k. Couldn't be happier.

I would just piece everything together until you collect all of your parts and then tear into it

Egr delete and new oil cooler.... If its not pushing coolant by now it will prob be ok unless ither of those things fail..... I'd think you would be around or less then $1000 to get both and install.... A coolant filter is always a good thing to have but egr delete is a must and it's really only another HR labor usually to put a oil cooler in
