Can the .84 housings wastegate be modified to operate in such a way as to give you the top end power and flow charecteristics of a 1.0 housing? Is this crazy talk or doable. The DI compound thread has got me thinking. I have a couple of .84 housings around here that I could play with.
Also, is the stock wastegate solenoid and actuator capable of allowing for performance operation of the wastegate or am I stuck with a creep open at low boost type of setup. I mean if the housing can be modified to work well can I make the stock controll system manage the wastegate however I tell it to.
