Hey,

Looking to add some extra bass to my ride, ideally without giving up any space.

I've got a 2011 XLT Lariat 4 door w/ factory nav/sub package.

Any recommendations on upgrades that won't cost me any space in the truck?

Thanks!

That's what I plan on doing.. I expect more from middle of the road speakers and head unit. My truck shakes all over. Sound deadener is a priority.

Depends on what you wanna spend.
I hear JLs stealth box with just one 8w7 rocks but you lose 75% of your console.

You could do a JL shallow 13 under the rear seat.

A cheap option is a JL 10w3. Get 1 or 2 again depending on budget.
I really like them.
I run one in my 7.3 behind the seat and 2 behind the seats in my 6.4

Best bang for your buck is the w3 IMO.
I think you can get away with 600 installed tops for everything. (1w3, good amp, box, wiring, install)

This is assuming you don't mind giving up the space behind the seats of course

Agreed, I had a JL 13TW5-3 shallow mount, made specifically for trucks with tight air space with a 600watt amp and Jesus would that thing hit in 2006 F250

However this time around I think I'm going to try ProBox's new line of subs, where instead of trying to make a 10, 12, or 15" sub fit, they take the measurements of the available air space and match the correct sub to the air space. So in my buddy's '10 Silverado he had two 10" but then got his hands on this ProBox and that had only one 8" but the correct box with air space and holy $hit does it hit hard AND sound clean
