Muffler delete vs full exhaust system

I was wondering whether or not there are power advantages to doing a full exhaust system such as mbrp or comparable brands vs just deleting your stock muffler

l99 7.3 38r zf6 4 inch rough country 20x14 fuel maverics on 33 trail grapplers

Unless your stock setup is rusted out I would just swap the muffler for a resonator and call it good. Are you loosing power that way? I don't know but it sure is cheaper and a hell of a lot easier.

A 4" exhaust will lower EGT's a bit. If you are running stock power, there will be no difference between stock and 4" except sound. All removing the mufflef will do is make it louder. Not a good louder either.
