need 6.0 advice

Ok I need some quick andvice.. I drive a 94 obs 7.3 psd right now.. runs good an looks good. but want something newer. I found a 2004 6.0 psd dually for $9950. Its the lariat edition with leather interior.. nice an clean rig.. Has 209K miles on it. the EGR has never been deleted and still has the factory head studs. Far as I know it hasn't been completely hot rodded an older couple was supposed to own it.. What advice do yall have on me getting a 6.0??? Ive heard good an bad with the engine. just wanna hear from someone that actually has one. and would I be beneficial goin from one to the other??

I liked my switch from OBS to my 6.0. Just all around nicer. Just figure in the price with head studs & gaskets and a delete and you'll be golden.

Really? I can do most that myself.. Im not gonna hop it up much either. also can I take the ts performance chip out of my truck retune it an use it on the 6.0?

No on the chip. At least to my knowledge. Get a SCT with custom tunes from a vendor on here.

If you have a lift it would make it much easier.

yea its all stock don't even have a leveling kit on it..

The head gaskets, oil cooler and egr delete are the big issues... You could fill a dictionary with things that could happen though.. But it's that way with every vehicle.
