Need help desciding on running boards! Leaving this up for a VOTE

2000 Std cab longer bed step boards of nerf step bars?

what do you guys think?

That's a tough one. Are you talking standard round nerfs or the oval ford style? Why no amp research boards? That's the way to go! The molded boards are no good.

If I was going to do it I think I'd do the boards. Never been a huge fan of the little step bars

I say the step bars ONLY because those floorboard style ones A: Look like chit and B: hold snow/slush/salt to the door and help speed up the rust.

Personally I prefer nothing, but the full pontoon style steps look the best if you MUST go with fixed steps/boards.

Boards look better but like said, they'll hold the junk.

If i decide to go with the boards i want go to box the underneaith in stainless or line x to prevent rusting and rotting.

I've been thinking about the "bars" myself. They give you the convenience of a step, but still kind of give the look of not having steps

Nothing always looks best but is a pain in the ass lol
