Motor pool all dried up?? LOL Maybe AAFES garage can get a supplier lined up for you.

I'd see about a APO friendly shipper or ask a stateside buddy. Would USPS ship a case of coolant?? That's pretty heavy and costly at the same time.

Water won't destroy it. Get some coolant ordered and replace your drained coolant with straight water. It will be fine for the few weeks(?) it takes to get some coolant.
And on a side note, we have got to find a way to get your base to stock 6.0 stuff one day!

I would bet there are some Milspec coolants on base that would work for you. Go ahead and get some, we paid for it....just tell em PSA authorized it.

If the green is all you can get, you may want to set up to use it. I know you've heard that's a no-no, but if you get rid of your "gold" completely, the green will provide freeze protection and corrosion resistance.

The difference in "green" and orange/yellow coolants is the green uses silicates and other stuff as corrosion inhibitor. It's life is 30K or less also. If the green and gold mix, the acid used as corrosion inhibitor in the gold, will precipitate the silicates from the green, removing its corrosion resistance. And the precipitated silicates will end up in (your filter if you have) or your oil cooler.

If it's the only easy to get coolant, you really have no choice. Just make sure you completely remove ALL previous coolant first and change your coolant at 25 0r 30k.

Well I can get red g12 off base at a Germany store they also have a clear coolant

From the interwebs This coolant/antifreeze is phosphate free
and also silicate free. When supplied by Volkswagen,
this coolant/antifreeze is known as G12.

The red (like toyota uses) is green dyed red. Just treat it like green. I don't know about the clear. How long will it take you to get what you want?

Any issues with UPS/DHL receiving on base? Got a friendly supply person that would give out the unit address for receiving?? I'm willing to help but a case is heavy and expensive.
