Need Help With Diagnosis

Hey guys. So I know there is probably a thread on here somewhere about this but I couldn't quite seem to find it. But I think I might have a wheel bearing that is shot. I have a pulsating metallic squeal on the front left wheel. I am also curious if it is a wheel bearing how much do they cost and how hard are they to install. I've done some research but it says they are $700 for the bearing and that seems way high to me but I am not sure. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Does the noise get worse or go away if you turn a certain direction? Have you tried just jacking the front end up and trying to wiggle top to bottom on that wheel?

So it turns out the wheel bearing is fine is just so happens a rock got stuck behind it go figure. Thanks for all the help though.
