need help

hi i have a 05 f250 6.0 with 220,000 miles, i just changed the oil with 15-40 rotella ran to the store, ran fine like normal and then parked it at home for about an hour then started it up to come to work and it acts like its missing then it runs fine then again same thing, this is the first time this has happened after changing the oil, is the oil to thick for the hpop with my miles? or just wait for the oil to thin out?

I've read places that rotella isnt what it used to be however I had rotella in mine for 5k miles with no problems, do you have the motorcraft filter cap or is it that big bulky one that goes on napa and wix oil filters..

i have the motorcraft filter and cap and i always have ran rotella in my truck

IMO 5W40 is better oil in a 6.0 but if you normally use the oil you just changed it with I can't see the weight of the oil being your issue.. If it were me I would run the truck for a couple of days to see if it clears up.. It sounds to me to be coincidental.. You may have an issue elsewhere..
