Need some help with diagnosis

Okay fellas every time I pull a trailer or do some wot runs I tend to have issues

So what's every one think? It still has egr on it but it doesn't puke All the time just when under a heavy load or wot

Mine used to do that when I wasn't towing, I replaced the cap and all is well now. That looks like the new cap though Isn't it?

I replaced the cap after the first sign of puking .... I can have it happen on wide open runs no load as well I have a feeling I'm losing a head gasket just trying to make sure I'm on the right track . It's prolly headed to the dealer tomorrow..,

Oh and I should say I'm addin about 1/2 a gallon to a gallon of coolant weekly but
No smoke out the exhuast or water in the oil...

If you've already replaced it you sound like you're on the right track, might as well stud it while your in there.

Well if it's head gaskets I will make sure it's studded and when I get it back I'll throw an egr delete on it and be done

Well ford won't put the delete on for me it's against the law.... But my truck is under warranty so ford will be doing the studs if that is the problem

can you monitor the temps? What's your oil temp at?? seems like a plugged up oil cooler

Temps were in check water temp would creep up a bit when loaded

Clogged oil cooler by itself won't make it puke. It can quickly lead to a ruptured oil cooler and blown head gaskets though. Both of which could cause the symptoms the OP is experiencing.

Well I put it back to stock and ford says its not doing it anymore I will know more tomorrow or Tuesday. So I will prolly just put everything back on and run it till it goes!

Ford had it couldn't get it to puke so I told them to go pull a hill next thing I know I get a phone call saying I have a headgasket issue and the warranty is gonna cover it unless I want studs they have to come from me
