negative temps truck running weird

Well we just had a cold snap in pa this morning truck was plugged in and ran fine but it sat unplugged for 4 hrs started fine let run for a minute then drove...she didbt wanna go anywhere lol when I would pull out it sounded like the vgt was shut off then you could hear tge turbo but the power wasn't there but it did clear up...any guesses could the vanes have been sticking I'm confused ?

the veins can stick in cold weather- I have had this happen to me before, just drive it and once its a operating temp it should free up provided that was the issue

Well simple rule of thumb for any diesel is let it warm up before driving in cold weather.

Yup, any vehicle for that matter.. My gasser doesn't like shifting when it's cold..

that POS 6.2 we have, gosh, i have never felt a trans do more retarded stuff...

it was -9 this morning and it was was jumping up and down two gears at a time.

Yes it is...LOL If I warm it up for 5 minutes it shifts fine but if I take right off and it's 0F, it shifts all ***ed up... My 6.0's did the same when they ran in 0F temps which wasn't all that often...LOL

Every 6.0 I've ever been around has needed some warm up time. 5 minutes does wonders for them when it's this cold.

OR, hopefully you have it deleted, but a stuck egr valve can cause this as well.
