I put a set of 8 AD code injectors in my e99 f350 yesterday. #8 cylinder got the AE code injector. The truck starts and runs out well but I hear a loud clack coming from a cylinder when pulling out of a stop or a low rpms on the highway. Its gone when I have my foot on the go pedal and the turbo is spoiling or when I'm pulling a hill. I've only put around 150 miles on the new injectors. It's loud enough to cause concern so here is my question. Since I replaced AB code injectors do I need my ECM reflashed to a later model spec or is this some other issue. I was wondering if a fueling issue could do this since the clack is gone when I'm under acceleration or load while doing highway speeds.
