New kid from Fl

Hey guys, my names Austin. I'm 17 and my first vehicle was a early '99 f-250. My family owns all diesels, I'm the only one into the performance side though. My older brother has a 91 idi with banks turbo, dad has a 08 6.4 and 97 obs work truck, and my mom drives a 6.0 excursion. Mods on my truck are 3.5" dp and 5" straight pipe exhaust and diy cold air intake. I would love to make some good solid streetable horsepower, but only being 17 with no job is holding me back. Always lurking the forum though, love all the bangin' rigs.

I dont know anything abut the diesel guys around here. Been driving stock cars since i was nine. And i live 5 minutes away from lakeland drag strip.

Well while I have this thread going i have some questions.

If i have a 99.5-02 7.3 sitting in my shop, would it be worth it to swap out the e99 parts on mine with stuff from that (i.e. hpop, plenums, turbo but keep wicked wheel, and up pipes and all)?

And are the window motors universal from 2000-11 models or anywhere in between?
