Newbie needs help looking at new truck

I'm looking at a 99 f250 7.3 and the guy says it has a tapping noise. No clue why but says it has high oil pressure. Is this something to worry about or not he is asking 2500 but wants my motorcycle which I'm not worried about losing just don't want to get stuck with a hunk of junk. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Might be a bend pushrod or or bent connecting rod. Maybe even a noisey injector.

How many miles on it?

A tapping noise is common with high mileage injectors. However, as stated, it could be something worse (bent rod).

If it has had the stock injectors that entire time, then more than likely it needs a new set of sticks and it will smooth out

Unless the body and motor are rusted/roached, 2500 could be promising for a 99 with 200K. If you really want a truck, chances are it needs some maintenance and you could be in it ok. If you don't want a truck, don't trade.

A vid of it starting and running would be good, quick tour of the truck would be good as well.
