First off I am fairly new with the diesel world. I have a 2012 f250 crew cab short bed with the 6.7. The truck is a salvage truck that I purchased and fixed up so warranty is not a concern for me. I have 62k on it right now and bought it with 34k.I had one sensor leave me on limp mode in the exhaust and now I am getting check engine lights for insufficient flow from the egr system. Pretty sure the cooler is clogged. I really like the truck but I hate check engine lights. What's the best way to make this go away for good. This truck is my daily driver. It also runs my roofing business by pulling trailers to different jobsites. There is so much info on these threads it's a little intimidating. Looking for some guidance. Thanks for your time

Best way to fix it permanently is to get rid of it. Both the egr and exhaust restriction devices. The egr will most likely plug up again even after changing of the coolers, no matter how you drive.

So who would one talk to about what's the best way to go about getting rid of those systems? Looking for every day reliability with better mileage would be a plus. But I do not need to make a race car. Thanks
