No start/no coolant

My neighbor's truck wouldnt start. So I was going to give him a jump. Well when I poped the hood he was out of coolant and the bottle had oil in it. I got the truck started but it took a set of cables hooked up to both my batteries. The truck took allmost 2 gallons of coolant to get back up to the mark. And had a bunch of oil in the degas bottle.

I told him he might have blown his heads gaskets but now that I think alittle more he might just have a bad oil cooler. What do yall think? The truck is an 07 with 56xxx miles. All stock

your two guesses are where Id start also but I hope you told him not to drive it.

Sounds more like a blown oil cooler, but anything is possible.

It pulled out of the drive way about 30 min ago on a 45 mile trip. He said *** it its ***ed anyway. So we made sure everything was toped off and away they went.
