Oil Cooler

I just removed the oil cooler on my truck today and when I did that I seen that it was full of oil underneath the cooler. I drained the oil from the truck before removal. Does this oil drain or does it just cycle back into the system??

that is the high pressure oil pump reservoir, you will have to suck the oil out of it if you want to emtpy it or remove the high pressure pump. make sure you replace the screen in the reservoir

no,but as you run the truck,oil is always flowing through that resi.
