Oil pressure, temp

Was just think, if I drilled and taped the side of the oil filter housing, would that show the correct oil pressure and temps?
It would keep a clean look that way.

Mmmm. I guess you would. But not sure if that temp will match the temp were the EOT is at. Not sure.

I would say no. Its running off the low oil pressure pump and that's the furthest point away from the pump. Its got to drop a bit I believe. If I'm wrong sorry.

Why not just install one of the billet oil filter caps already drilled and tapped for such a gauge?

I have a oil filter cap and fuel filter cap that I drilled and tapped so I could put a gauges on, its the easiest way to test the pressure. You'll get the pressure IDK about oil temp.

Were you looking for low/high oil psi? Should have been first question of mine.
