Opinions on side steps

I have the factory side step on my 02 F350 right now, but I'm curious on how it would look without the steps.

I'm in between a toss up of just taking mine off and going without, or fabbing a set out of DOM tubing. I like the idea of the low profile look so the ones I would fab would be closer to the truck/door vs. being dropped down lower.

What's your guys opinions?

I've ran my truck without steps for several years now. I prefer the clean look without them.

I love the look with no steps but I need steps on my truck so I went with AMP steps. One of the best mods I've done.

Yeah I have 6" of lift on 35s. Being 6' it isn't that bad of a step getting in without the steps. But my gf only standing at 5'6" it's a little harder lol

My truck had a 4" suspension lift and 35's on it at one time. oke:

amps all the way. the truck would look awesome with out the steps and then you do the amp mod and boom you go auto folding steps

love mine and will have a set on anything i own from here on out

Here is mine with and without. AMP's are definitely the way to go. Gonna be getting a set as soon as funds allow.

I like the clean look of no steps as well, but I just put the steps back on mine so that my seats dont get tore up from people jumping in, Im saving for amps though

I'm with you. I don't like the look of steps but my wife is 5'1". I have AMP steps, they are awesome.

How do these hold up to snow and ice and such from a MN winter? I think I really like those, never thought about them before. How do they mount? Into the stock body holes or drill and such?
