I have a 05 and just finished top end rebuild. 175/75 mpd, stage 3 kc turbo, studs, egr delete, stc fitting, stand tubes, dummy plugs, oil cooler etc.
got the truck started and its missing and cts shows p0261 code. drove it maybe 3 miles and was slowing down to a stop sign when it suddenly shut off. tried starting it back and it would hardly turn over like its hydro locking. when it does start, it smokes a white or grey smoke and starts knocking like its flooding with fuel and shuts off. unplugged the #1 injector and motor didn't change tone. not losing coolant and ficm is 49v. any help or info with this will be greatly appreciated
