If a airdog 1 low pressure pump goes out can the factory pump pull fuel through the Airdog pump to get you home?

Idk, im waiting to find out.. Mine is 4 yrs old. I was hoping it would, as a matter of fact, i can pull the fuse on it and see if it runs ?

Do you have a rr also? If so see if it starts to drop pressure.

Holy cow, pulled the plug and she runs, however there was a little pressure loss as the injectors got louder, i turned the pressure up on my regulator with no change in sound to the injectors....i dont have a gauge.... but it will get you home !

How long did you have it running? Do you still have the fuel bowl in place?

Yes, i do, i rev`d the motor several times, if i had to guess it didnt loose too much, though i still have the spring return on the fuel bowl and a regulator attached to my return line.
It didnt sound like running out of fuel, just a little louder than normal, probably similar to the stock sound. I have the pressure set where it just humms with no clacking so there was a definate change.
But, im glad you asked, i now know both pumps work, and if the AD dies i can drive home, whic i had wondered about previously.
