I'm starting to get the itch for more power abd to start building my truck up. Would it be better to put rods in the motor first or turbo first? Or just save up and do rods and turbo at the same time?

It all depends on how far your going to push your truck. If all your wanting to do is a turbo kit I think stock rods will be fine. Tuning has come along way in the past year and I believe they are holding together very well now.

you're fine with a mild turbo , IMO . i'm kicking the $hit out of mine everyday with a 63 , doesnt mean it wont pop, but i doubt it.

Yeah. Going for broke usually isn't my style either but I'm on a mission.

If I had the extra money for a built motor right away I would probably do the same thing. I'm just excited people are starting to finally build these motors and see what they are capable of.
