I've been dealing with a rough idle for about 2 years now. When the truck is cold, the truck idle's silky smooth. When the truck gets up to operating temperature the idle becomes rough. I've maintained the motor meticulously and tried a few different tunes to see if maybe that was the cause. Sadly, not the case.
I've read that the ICP sensor can cause this issue and I tried unplugging as suggested. When unplugged it idles normal, and smooth. I'm not receiving a CEL when plugged in, but I'm thinking that the sensor could still be bad seeing as the idle improves considerably when unplugged. Is it worth it to replace the sensor or is there something more obvious that I'm overlooking?
Any thoughts/experiences would be greatly appreciated!
