Okay so I just installed my guages. My egt is running 850. That seems pretty high to me! This truck is stock with only exhuast please shed some insight on the subject.

Do you mean running down the road or peak? Where did you install the EGT probe?
I hit 850, cruising down the freeway at 75-80 in the summer. 850 is nothing to worry about, heck, I hit 1900+ the other day racing a Dodge ram daytona, but of course my turbo stuck too, and I pegged my 60psi boost guage
I hope that never happens again, lol but I beat the dodge!

It's in the manifold that's 850 cruising around 70mph pulling a trailer that weighed 1500lbs it ran 1000

That sounds about right for stock, I remember it seeming to run hot but would not break 1000° no matter what. Tune runs about 100° cooler crusing down the highway but of course can crack over 1000° pretty easy when the pedal gets pushed
