[QUOTE="CallMeColt, post: 1509978, member: 14851"] Everyone, I've been racking my brain doing hours of searching on this forum, others, & Google. Can't really find a positive yes. I want to maintain 17in rims. Most of what I have seen has people with 20in rims. Retailers basically say "We can't ensure fitment since it's not an OEM size. I have a 2012 F-250 Powerstroke with the Fx4 package, so it sits level from the factory... at least it looks that way. I'm wanting a tire that sits around 2-3 inches wider & is a bit taller. Ultimately want 35inx12.5in R17 to be on the truck with no rubbing issues but I will need a lift for that & plan to get one in the future. I'm going to need tires soon, & wanted to do wheels & tires now, then put the 35inx12.5in tires on with a lift at the end of the year when I wear the set I plan to buy soon out. Currently have 285 70 R17 (32.7inx11.2in) on the factory wheels & have no issues at all. Was thinking of going to the wheels & one of the tires below. 315 70 R17 (34.4inx12.4in) or 305 70 R17 (33.8inx12in). Can't find an answer if they will give me problems are not. I'm thinking no they won't on paper, but don't want to spend $2000 & mess up the tires quickly! Rims would be 17x9 with a 18mm offset. If my math is correct, the rim will sit about 1.5in farther out than the factory one... basically the additional with from the factory goes out. Then take the addition tire width, divide in half, then add it getting the total amount extra it will stick out. Am I over thinking & the 35inx12.5in with these XD rims fit the truck fine? As always, I appreciate any help.
