So I've got a 6.0L that has no crank no start. Found that last time I worked on it the hot cable to the starter was corroded and had to be repaired.

Started fine and ran great after new injectors.

When the key is turned to the on position the dash cluster goes crazy and then all interior lights flicker and dim. Batteries load tested good, and are charged. Checked starter wiring and it is checking out good.

Any ideas?

I would start by checking your ground resistances, corrosion INSIDE the cables/connectors, and all your ground connections to start.

I was planning on checking that tomorrow, I was just throwing it out there to see if there was something easy that I may have overlooked

Will be checking ficm voltage today and running through connectors and cables for corrosion as I think that may be the issue.

Voltage is the big thing, I kind had a problem like that the other day. So as you said I would look there first. Plus check the alternator for the output voltage.

FICM voltage checked out great, this one definitely threw me off a bit cause I checked the starter originally and didn't notice anything. It wasn't till I actually tried pull the nut off the positive battery lug at the starter to clean the terminals when the lug busted out. I took the starter out and tested it and it was shorting to ground.
