swapping engines, does it matter which year?

i am looking to get a complete running engine to put into my truck. it is an early 03, do i need to find another 03 or will any year work?

Any year will work, just may have to buy a radiator hose n some other odds n ends

anything other than 03- early 04, you will need a engine harness. or modify yours. you may need a pcm if you go to wave rail. i ran into running/idling issues when i converted my o3 to wave rail.

matt couldnt tune out the glitches it had. i had to put a 04 pcm in to straighten it out.

U can pull the icp wiring out back to the oil filter housing n its long enough to reach the valve cover.... That's how I did mine
