Is this taboo? Just thinking a T3 mount would allow for wider options for turbos in the 63-66 range by piggybacking on what is available. Believe currently available setups are T4s. Didn't know if anyone did any back pressure testing during development and ruled this flange size out.?

Gotcha. Bummer as I have 3 turbos laying around that for that. Being devil's advocate how do the 6 cylinder guys get away with it? I know they have options for T4 manifolds as well.

A 5.9 inline 6 with a t3 came factory with 185 hp.
These trucks come with twice that.

A 5.9 inline 6 head flows 120 cfm
These trucks flow almost twice that.

A 5.9 inline 6 injector delivers 90cc of fuel in 1000 strokes\
These trucks deliver 3 times that.

Everyone is trying to tell you that a t3 would be at the upper limit and a t4 is better suited for our engine.

There were a few companies that have tried the t3 mount, and ultimately the kits are not being produced.

The real question is who will be first to put a t6 mount on a powerstroke?

Disclaimer: The figures above are estimates.

Appreciate all the information. I was just basing question off displacement comparison.
