I will need to upgrade replace my tires before winter. Highway tread came with the truck and not sure about them for the winter.

Currently it's the 245 on 17 rims, pretty sure 265 was an option, what is the biggest size I can run with out lift and issue?

Not sure If i want to do a leveling kit or not as I tow occasionally and use bed frequent and don't want to affect that.

On the 17x7.5s I'd go 285/70r17 biggest and they'll clear no problems stock. I have 325s on my 18x8s and I dont think I'd go this wide again on stock rims. If you're looking for a good tire for winter and all other weather, you can't go wrong with the Goodyear Duratrac. Mine have taken me though quite a bit of snow and mud with little problem.

I have 35x12.50's on factory 20's and it fit fine with no rubbing or anything. I just recently put my leveling kit on.

Thanks guys for the advice. Ill look into the dura tracks.
How long do they usually last and how do they do on highway? I want an at tire, but tire rack lists them as commercial max of road traction

I wouldn't be surprised to see 40,000 or more miles out of a set. My truck came with 275/70R18 Duratracs with 15/32 when I bought it, I put a little over 23k miles on them and the fronts had 9/32s and the rears were bald from doing burnouts so I just replaced them all with 325/65R18s. So far about 7k miles on my new tires and they dont look worn at all.

That's what I was hoping to hear. i do about 25-30k miles a year. About 75% is primarily highway with the remainder being in vt on barley improved snow covered, dirt very rocky roads.

What did you pay for them? I see between $230-280 a tired depending on size
