A buddy of mine called me earlier and told me his truck was at the stealership getting injectors replaced and said they told him the "e-drive valve" on the transmission needed changed, and the fuel filters and wants to charge him like 750 dollars to do the "e-drive valve" and the fuel filters. I told him I would change the fuel filters, tranny filters and everything and not to spend that much money for that. But my question is, what the f is a "e-drive valve?" Is that some sort of external valve? Its supposedly a 230 dollar part? Any advise would be appreciated. If I can change it for him and save his a** some money I will.
