Hey yall I have a turbo with the non gated 1.15 turbine housing...what options do I have for a
Smaller housing? I read some ps turbos have .84 housings?

Whats all involved with swapping the housings is it. Simple or do I need a different wheel?

This is for my 5.0 pinto

Thanks in advance!

Post a picture, and that will help us help you.

There are 3 basic turbos that fit from 94 to 03 power stroke engines.

I have a .84 housing if you you have the right turbo.

That is the early model TP-38 turbo. Yea you can get a .84 and 1.00 housing.

No. The newer housing will have a wastegate and round collector. The T4 turbine housing are all the same turbine wheel.

Can't remember if I got it from riffraff, but I got the 1.00 housing. Think I paid like $85 for it. Maybe it was ebay. I like it.
The recent 3 inch downpipe to 4 inch straight pipe made it even more noticeable.

Yeah. The other GTP-38 turbine housing that has the round collector won't fit on your turbo.

Look for the 94-97 7.3 turbo. I think it takes the 12 point closed end of a 5/16" wrench to fit the bolt head.
