So I'm new to the PSA forum but I get in compd some. Names Taylor I work for CAT in VA but originally from TN. So here's my problem. Truck ran great going down the road until you touched the fuel pedal. Once you started easing into it you could feel I thump under your feet and it sounded like you were driving with all 4 on the rumble strip. Made it almost home and the trans started leaking really bad. Got it home an looked at it today. Looks like the oil is coming out somewhere on top right around where the case meets the tail shaft. Any ideas on what I might be. All help I much appreciated.

I believe that the vent hose on some trucks are routed to that area of the leak. have you checked the torque converter nuts? could also be an internal converter failure. its hard to guess at these things but it is a good place to start looking.

good luck!

Thanks. We are thinking about pulling it this weekend but I'm gonna check everything else first. What is the best way to check converter bolts?

This is what the pan looked like. I'm sure it was a lot worse because I have had to put a lot of oil in it in the last week and it just pukes it out.

Where would you guy suggest for trans parts or a complete trans and converter?
