In foward gears my trany has only had the 3-5 flare once and a while. The temps stay cool, around 150-160 pulling loads in town on 80-100* weather.
When I put the truck in reverse I do wait a second before I throttle it, it feels like wheel hope, I let out and then it's fine. It doesn't do this all the time, but seems to happen more now. What could be the cause of this? It seems like this happens about once a week when I drive it now. I drive 500-800 miles a week when I'm home.

The trany has 60,000 on this flush and I'm going to get another flush, filters and the 3-5 solenoid, when i bet home. I have 144,000 miles on the truck/trans. The oil still looks good too.

sounds like a plan to do the solenoid-let us know if it fixes it.

Are you saying that it engages into reverse harder than it should?

When I put the truck into reverse and throttle it the truck will shack, fills just like wheel hope. It's not ever time, once I let off, it's fine again.

Low reverse hub is probably cracked. Might be trans time
