I have a 2000 f250 7.3. Just got my injectors back from FFD put then in it ran great. Installed the valve covers got a miss. removed the passenger side vc messed with the wires it came back. So I buy 2 new gaskets with wiring and new pig tails install them it ran fine so install the vc today with the IC pipes as well start it and it sounds like hell. Like its running on 4 cylinders. so I remove the VC again same issue. Run an injector buzz test and here what I got
P0279 cylinder 7 injector circuit low
P0273 cylinder 5 injector circuit low
P1267 cylinder 7 (C) high to low side short
P1271 cylinder 1 (A) high to low side short
P1272 cylinder 2 (B) high to low side short
P1277 cylinder 7 (C) high to low side short
P1273 cylinder 3 (D) high to low side short
P1274 cylinder 4 (E) high to low side short
P1275 cylinder 5 (F) high to low side short
P1276 cylinder 6 (G) high to low side short
P1278 cylinder 8 (H) high to low side short
P1298 IDM fault
P1291 Bank 1 inj short- ground
P1293 High side open bank #1
P1294 high side open bank #2
This idm was modified for higher voltage a few years ago. Im I pretty safe to be the IDM has left me?

I would swap it out and see what happens
