truck died while driving, now no start

today while on my way home my truck died and since, I've had a no start condition, with no codes.

while coming up a hill, into the pedal quite a bit, I let off and saw the rpms slowly drop to 0 with no response from the throttle. checked the fuel filter and theres fuel, pulled the oil filter cap off and saw no oil in where the filter sits. not sure if that has anythign to do with it.

running a standard tune from Matt.

anyone have any ideas, or run into something similar?

With the oil filter out, crank the engine to see if you have base oil pressure.

will that fill up the oil filter bowl, similar to checking a fuel bowl on the 7.3's?
