Truck smokes in 5th gear

Hello all again... The first time I noticed it I was going up a hill and it seemed like it was over fueling but it did it again today and it almonds seemed like the turbo quit spooling. All I had to do was let off the Pedal then push it back and it stopped but idk why or what's causing this.

Converter locks and you lose rpms/boost and when you let off then get on it, it unlocks and you rev higher and get te boost back and then the smoke clears maybe? We are talking soot smoke and not the blue/white stuff right?

Not blue smoke is Definitely fuel. And the rpms are low it seems like the turbo just stops spooling and its overfuleing

Maybe the vanes are sticking?
