Turbo swap in a 03

Anyone put a 04.5 up turbo in a 03 without changing the mount and intake? I was thinking it should work if you cut off the rear mount boss off of the housing but wasn't sure Thanks psa

You are correct, you will have to cut the rear mounting point off... What is your reasoning for wanting to do it this way?

03 turbos are hard to find, truck is a limited use farm, back roads, guy doesn't want to spend the price used 03 turbos go for
