Idk if this is the right place for this..
I go through a set of u joints about once a year I don't off road in my truck much anymore , if I do I re grease them, is this normal? I'm hooked to a trailer 75% of the time putting on 20-30 k Miles a year. My dad obs puts on same miles with another trailer and haven't done u joints in years

Is your truck lifted? Driveline angles normal?

All stock with 285 75 tires.

I used aftermarket U-joints and they didn't last for sh!t. I put the OEM units in and never replaced them again..

I have had no luck with NAPA U-joints or motor supply for that matter, I bought a bunch of stuff from those places and it all pretty much sucked.. Pay a little more and have it last three times as long makes sense to me..

Buy them at the dealer, there not that much more money and save yourself the headache.. I put 80K on the first ones and got 70K out of the last ones and I plowed lots of snow around the clock..

They make the OEM u-joints. It'll be cheaper to buy direct.
