Up pipe tricks

Putting an 06 together after another shop did an oil cooler job. Turbo is in but the up pipes are kicking my ace. Is there a trick to get the collector to line up so I can slip the v band on? Both up pipes are disconnected at the manifolds. Does the egr cooler need to be disconnected? It's about a quarter inch off. Collector needs to come up so it can touch the turbo.

Unbolt the turbo from the pedestal, hook the collector up to the turbo, then bolt the turbo down.

Thank you guys!! She's all put back together minus a missing injector connector lock ring. The coolant tank sat for months with oil and coolant in it. Not fun at all. Dont think good things will happen when it gets fired up.

new tanks are cheap.... and the clips are now avalilable from ford... but last count I have about 89 in my box...

Truck is all put back together. Turbo wasn't to bad to put in. Got some issues though. Starting another thread.
