I am installing a 50" roof bar on a truck and the only up fitter not used is #3. I want to replace they fuse or relay to a higher amperage.

Where do I do this?

In the 08-10, trucks - the two 30 amp fuse for switches #1 and #2 are in the power distribution box under the hood. The fuses for switches #3 and #4 are located in the smart junction box (fuse panel in the right kick panel under the right side of the dash). Not sure if they moved them in the newer trucks.

how many amps does that thing draw?

your other option would be just using that switch to trigger another relay thats seperate and using the appropriate amperage for the entire system

I can't see that light bar drawing 30 amps have your tried it on the 30? Most fuses are good for 1.5 times the rated value if is over 30 and under 44 you should be fine.

Thats actually the highest amperage for a 50 inch bar, so if it was me i would throw a 25 amp fuse in there, so at least its on the safe side. And then load test it LOL

Thanks for the answers guys. I just removed what was on up fitter 1 and moved it to number 3. The 50" is now on the number 1 switch.

This truck is crazy. Has the following

HID Projectors Retrofitted in the Factory Headlights.
Rigid Dually D2 Fog Lights
40" E Series SpotFlood Combo in the bumper opening
50" E2 Spot Floot Combo on the Roof. I will post pics later.
